LHA – Assessment

If you are building new or renovating an existing dwelling needing certification as to provide easier access for:

  • People with a disability and their families.
  • Ageing baby boomers.
  • People whom sustained a temporary injury.

You will need it assessed in order to be classified as an approved LHA (Livable Housing Australia) dwelling.
The role of a LHA Design Guideline Assessor (the assessor) is to conduct assessments of dwelling design features against the Elements described in the LHA Guidelines.

Each assessment involves a review of the design of a dwelling (or as Built structure) against the Elements in the Guidelines.
If your project needs an LHA quality mark – SILVER/ GOLD/ PLATINUM, we can provide the assessment services for you to achieve the desired quality mark.
